Vintage Spain Influenced 9 Drawer Dresser

OK so I’ve never been to Spain,

but for some reason this dresser reminds me of something you might find there.

Tell me if I’m really off base.

Here is the before.

The before owner had started to paint it black.

I like black don’t get me incorrect.

But for such a larger piece black seemed a small…ominous.

Here she is now.

She’s painted in Bon Voyage from Behr and dry brushed in Frost also by Behr.

Surrounded by the drawers is painted with Behr’s Iconic Sky.

Hardware is original.

And I have a question about that.

Do you reckon the hardware would look better painted another color?

Right now it’s bronze and I like the draw a distinction, but what do you reckon?
